A credit is a debt, so it has to be paid. This is the main duty performed by the consumer credit protection law. As the name suggests, credit protection is considered of valuable importance because some times you find that creditors tend to misunderstand debtors who are willing to pay but they do not have the money at hand. What they do is pick up everything that belongs to the debtor and sells it in order to regain their money, but the protection law is meant to help all those who are debtors and do not have the money to pay back whatever they borrowed at the moment, but are willing to pay with a higher installment if they are added more time. Get to register yourself with these credit protection laws, if you are a debtor so that they can negotiate terms with your creditor if you are not able to pay of your debt in the time span given. There is so much more in offer for you as the debtor, because you have a right to be protected as well.
